After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Leopold Havlit managed to get in a good position for a shot. Futting's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopold Havlit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronnie Cargan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jimi Hjalager fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronnie Cargan having to interfere. In the 30thth minute of the game Teddi Florina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sarup FV's Ronnie Cargan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teddi Florina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ronnie Cargan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Håkon Lien's late challenge caught a Sarup FV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Håkon Lien helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th minute, Bendt Crumme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jimi Hjalager had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
