Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gerner Silkeborg started the match with the kick off. 15 minutes into the match, Mellemby's Gerner Silkeborg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Otto Lykkedegn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Louis Baaner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerner Silkeborg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Otto Lykkedegn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manfred Løvild during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Manfred Løvild hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Gerner Silkeborg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Otto Lykkedegn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Mik Isaack scored 0-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Otto Lykkedegn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Otto Lykkedegn came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Mellemby's Louis Baaner. But to his dismay, Louis Baaner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Mellemby's Gerner Silkeborg in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Borsholm's goalie prevented a goal. If Gerner Silkeborg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Manfred Løvild came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Borsholm fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manfred Løvild couldn't finish the play.

Frode Barfeldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfred Løvild in the 55th minute of the match. Mellemby's Frode Barfeldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfred Løvild in the 61st minute of play. Otto Lykkedegn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gerner Silkeborg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 64 minute of play. Otto Lykkedegn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerner Silkeborg, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After having played for 71 minutes, Manfred Løvild managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borsholm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manfred Løvild was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Sigfred Hølmkjær notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Mellemby's Frode Barfeldt. Frode Barfeldt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Sigfred Hølmkjær had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Borsholm fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! The audience thought a goal was coming when Louis Baaner got free with Otto Lykkedegn in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute, Oswald Meicker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 98 minutes Borsholm's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Charlie Peis who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Mellemby's Gerner Silkeborg to a score. 1-4 in the 98th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mellemby had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
