Hugo Karmer kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Borsholm's Sigfred Hølmkjær sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilhelm Wiegmann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zacharias Grebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Otto Lykkedegn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilhelm Wiegmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manfred Løvild, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 43 minutes, Sigfred Hølmkjær managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borsholm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sigfred Hølmkjær was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Samson Mulvard fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dagelykke FV's protests and gave Samson Mulvard a yellow card for diving instead. Samson Mulvard hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Borsholm's Otto Lykkedegn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Borsholm from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sigfred Hølmkjær to make the kick off. Manfred Løvild succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 55th playminute. After 58 played minutes Dagelykke FV got a freekick which was hit by Villiam Helsengreen. Sigfred Hølmkjær received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. If Karim Harrekilde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Borsholm supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Borsholm would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
