The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tavs Klingsey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rufus Ell in the 6th minute of play. Rufus Ell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Detlev Fagerholt made a precise shot to the right of Tavs Klingsey. Gellerup's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Detlev Fagerholt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricky Loeb hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Tavs Klingsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rufus Ell in the 29th minute of the match. When Detlev Fagerholt came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Englerup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Detlev Fagerholt couldn't finish the play. If Rufus Ell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Detlev Fagerholt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tavs Klingsey having to interfere. Augustin Fokner charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augustin Fokner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Augustin Fokner hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Hasse Engquist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Kield Adelson made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Filip Mittelsdorf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gellerup's supporters rose to their feet, but Filip Mittelsdorf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kield Adelson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Detlev Fagerholt to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Bjarke Hausted hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rufus Ell in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tavs Klingsey, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Englerup's Didrik Lerbjerg got a free kick in the 58th minute. Augustin Fokner hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Johan Hartaa hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Detlev Fagerholt was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. Englerup's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 73rd match minute, Gellerup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Mittelsdorf to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Gellerup getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ricky Loeb hit a great ball. After 76 minutes, Filip Mittelsdorf mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gellerup and the Englerup players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th match minute, Gellerup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Mittelsdorf to maneuver through the defense. Detlev Fagerholt was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 77th minute. Detlev Fagerholt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tavs Klingsey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Filip Mittelsdorf got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Gellerup's Filip Mittelsdorf got a free kick in the 88th minute. With a little luck, Gellerup's Tavs Klingsey got control of the ball when Rufus Ell tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Svend Danesø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tavs Klingsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Detlev Fagerholt in the 96th minute of the match. The Englerup players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
