The Lavrits Mourier was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Tycho Raskfeld kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Sæby AC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when John Agerskov scored to the left of an out of position Valdemar Griffin, making the score, 1-0. When Sæby AC's Knud Gewitz in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Görup's goalie prevented a goal. When Michael Lieberkind fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Görup's protests and gave Michael Lieberkind a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th minute, Michael Lieberkind hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ronni Sadek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, Görup could leave the field as winners, despite Sæby AC having more of the ball for most of the match.
