Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Sæby AC's goal looked a bit too open when Zacharias Brinkkjær came free, but Valdemar Griffin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gabriel Almer fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nysum FC's protests and gave Gabriel Almer a yellow card for diving instead. Gabriel Almer kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Ronni Sadek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute Ronni Sadek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Staalø saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 12th minute of the match Gabriel Almer completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gabriel Almer a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Nysum FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Gabriel Almer hit a great ball. A hard shot by Markus Fløistrup from long distance, 14 minutes into the match, got Henry Staalø's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Mattias Wennergaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mattias Wennergaard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 26 minutes, Markus Fløistrup mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sæby AC and the Nysum FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sæby AC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Markus Fløistrup hit a great ball. If Mattias Wennergaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nysum FC's Henry Staalø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronni Sadek in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute Sæby AC were awarded a corner. Markus Fløistrup went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Sæby AC's Andreas Holben to a score. 1-0 in the 38th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Mattias Wennergaard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nysum FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mattias Wennergaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdemar Griffin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Mattias Wennergaard made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Nysum FC's Lavrits Karnbak got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 64th minute, Cristian Avnsbaar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Ronni Sadek made a precise shot to the right of Henry Staalø. Nysum FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Andreas Holben sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lavrits Karnbak hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Ronni Sadek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80thth minute of the game Knud Gewitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nysum FC's Henry Staalø was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Henry Staalø made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knud Gewitz in the 81st minute of play. After having played for 84 minutes, Mattias Wennergaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nysum FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mattias Wennergaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute Knud Gewitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Staalø saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Mattias Wennergaard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valdemar Griffin was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sæby AC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Nysum FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
