Ronni Sadek charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronni Sadek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ronni Sadek hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After 6 minutes, Ronni Jungberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bregnerød FV and the Sæby AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Markus Fløistrup, 7 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Albinus Roving took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Knud Gewitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Knud Gewitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th match minute, Bregnerød FV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronni Jungberg to maneuver through the defense. Ronni Jungberg kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Sean Bjerknes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bregnerød FV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sæby AC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Bregnerød FV's Sean Bjerknes got a free kick in the 19th minute. Markus Fløistrup, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Bregnerød FV's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Holben came free, but Albinus Roving reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulrik Lønsman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt Hagenstein in the 51st minute of play forced Bregnerød FV's goalkeeper Albinus Roving to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Frantz Hallerslev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valdemar Griffin. Sæby AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frantz Hallerslev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Ulrik Lønsman struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Valdemar Griffin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bregnerød FV. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulrik Lønsman in the 68th minute of play forced Sæby AC's goalkeeper Valdemar Griffin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frantz Hallerslev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemar Griffin having to interfere. Frantz Hallerslev struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Valdemar Griffin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bregnerød FV. Ulrik Lønsman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Valdemar Griffin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Frantz Hallerslev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albinus Roving showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronni Sadek in the 84th minute of the match. The Sæby AC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Bregnerød FV from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
