Helmuth Fænrik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergei Parkel in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th match minute, Ulstrup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Bjelka to maneuver through the defense. Christoffer Ervil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 played minutes Vollerup got a freekick which was hit by Kenni Gersbøll. Vollerup's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Torben Dornfeldt scored to the left of an out of position Dirch Heidtmann, making the score, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sergei Parkel to make the kick off. If Johnni Kronkilde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Christoffer Ervil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torben Dornfeldt in the 61st minute of play forced Vollerup's goalkeeper Dirch Heidtmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Torben Dornfeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Helmuth Fænrik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergei Parkel, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute.
