Attrup FV were furious when Thorkild Nern was red carded, 39 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 38th minute, one of Attrup FV:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Attrup FV. The referee gave Bryndum FV a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sean Lisbæk, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Attrup FV's Tycho Stelsberg. 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amin Marsi made a kick off. Wilfred Steenholt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleks Tudal, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Attrup FV's zone, Amin Marsi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tycho Stelsberg came out of the goal and Amin Marsi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 81 played minutes Attrup FV got a freekick which was hit by Rudolph Kirkskov. Niels Mess charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niels Mess the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Attrup FV getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niels Mess in the 93rd minute of play forced Bryndum FV's goalkeeper Wilfred Steenholt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Attrup FV supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bryndum FV's performance. The match ended with a win for Bryndum FV.
