The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Visti Filler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sonni Rarsing, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Visti Filler came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Gundestrup's Sonni Rarsing. But to his dismay, Sonni Rarsing quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Børge Inglis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sonni Rarsing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Visti Filler having to interfere. If Preben Gurtler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 17 minutes into the game, when Stefan Stellart put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gundestrup fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! 21 minutes into the match, Gundestrup's goal looked a bit too open when Reinhardt Marvad came free, but Jonathan Taito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Taito made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Preben Gurtler sent off a good shot on target. Preben Gurtler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Taito having to interfere. Reinhardt Marvad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinhardt Marvad in the 41st minute of play forced Gundestrup's goalkeeper Jonathan Taito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Børge Inglis was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Taito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinhardt Marvad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 57 minutes, Reinhardt Marvad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tvedhuse's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinhardt Marvad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58thth minute of the game Preben Gurtler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gundestrup's Jonathan Taito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 58 minutes, William Sølvblad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gundestrup and the Tvedhuse players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gundestrup's William Sølvblad got a free kick in the 58th minute. Jonathan Taito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Preben Gurtler in the 60th minute of play. If Samuel Roskilde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Børge Inglis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Visti Filler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Jonathan Taito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Preben Gurtler in the 68th minute of the match. After 78 played minutes Tvedhuse got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Nomis. Holger Kvarnbo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Visti Filler. Tvedhuse's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Tvedhuse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Nomis to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute of the match Holger Kvarnbo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Visti Filler skillfully saved the ball. In the 85th minute, Romeo Nomis made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Taito. Gundestrup's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After having played for 89 minutes, Børge Inglis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gundestrup's supporters crossed their fingers, but Børge Inglis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Preben Gurtler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jonathan Taito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gundestrup eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
