The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute Preben Gurtler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Villy Dorey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Villy Dorey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Reinhardt Marvad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. In the 45th minute, Harry Næsholm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Stephen Egestorp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harry Næsholm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harry Næsholm in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Visti Filler saved Tvedhuse from getting behind. Asbjørn Hvidbak hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. If Reinhardt Marvad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Preben Gurtler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Villy Dorey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthon Wedenfeld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Villy Dorey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Preben Gurtler went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Preben Gurtler who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Villy Dorey when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Tvedhuse's Villy Dorey threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Reinhardt Marvad, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 87 minutes of play, Tvedhuse's Preben Gurtler made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Villy Dorey was left in no man's land by his defense there! Reinhardt Marvad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Villy Dorey having to interfere. Preben Gurtler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Villy Dorey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, Tvedhuse's Preben Gurtler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Villy Dorey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Tvedhuse's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
