When Boris Falkmar fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Svendborg FC's protests and gave Boris Falkmar a yellow card for diving instead. Boris Falkmar kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Hemmed's Thue Aris got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thue Aris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Wictor Løvestjerne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Curt Strue fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wictor Løvestjerne having to interfere. Jens Løhr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Hilbert Wichberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, Hemmed was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ib Breilund to maneuver through the defense. Curt Strue fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wictor Løvestjerne having to interfere. Jens Løhr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Bent Weie made a precise shot to the right of Hilbert Wichberg. Hemmed's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hemmed's goalkeeper Hilbert Wichberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bent Weie to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Boris Falkmar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Svendborg FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boris Falkmar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Svendborg FC! In the 58th minute there was a penalty for Hemmed. Bert Stenhus stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wictor Løvestjerne. 1-1. Jens Løhr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilbert Wichberg having to interfere. 70 minutes into the game, Svendborg FC's Jens Løhr nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hilbert Wichberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After a rather tough play, Hemmed's Laust Tulstrup got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Hemmed's goal looked a bit too open when Bent Weie came free, but Hilbert Wichberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Thue Aris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thue Aris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Wictor Løvestjerne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wictor Løvestjerne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Curt Strue, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Svendborg FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
