Espen Keilgaard went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Rostrup getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Absalon Mannet hit a great ball. Nicolaj Strel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Harms in the 11th minute of the match. Herbert Harms struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Nicolaj Strel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rostrup. Herbert Harms received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Nicolaj Strel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herbert Harms sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Dirk Fransson fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rostrup's protests and gave Dirk Fransson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, Dirk Fransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicolaj Strel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Harms in the 35th minute of play. If Herbert Harms had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Husum's Jarl Lerbrandt got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute of the match Espen Keilgaard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicolaj Strel skillfully saved the ball.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonas Thoftstrup to strike the kick off in the second half. Nicolaj Strel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Harms in the 72nd minute of the match. Dirk Fransson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Herbert Harms blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicolaj Strel having to make a save. 78 minutes into the match, Husum's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Harms came free, but Nicolaj Strel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 80 minutes, Dirk Fransson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rostrup's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dirk Fransson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Herbert Harms was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 81st minute. Rostrup's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 83 minutes into the match, Husum's goalkeeper Nicolaj Strel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dirk Fransson. After a rather tough play, Husum's Jochum Sandsdal got a free kick in the 87th minute. If Herbert Harms had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Husum succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Rostrup had controlled the match.
