Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Melkior Garmer made the kick off which started today's match. Fodby's Kirstein Glyrup played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melkior Garmer in the 3rd minute of play. If Mauritz Langhjelm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fodby fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! After 18 played minutes Balstrup got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Nerlev. In the 20th minute, Walther Bahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 24 minutes, Joakim Barnell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fodby and the Balstrup players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joakim Barnell hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Harry Dragsford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jørgen Bertoni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melkior Garmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kirstein Glyrup having to interfere. Harry Dragsford blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jørgen Bertoni having to make a save. Harry Dragsford received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jørgen Bertoni came out and tried to block the shot, but Harry Dragsford slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 44th minute. After 47 played minutes Balstrup got a freekick which was hit by Ricki Mannsmeier.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Harry Dragsford to make the kick off. Melkior Garmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kirstein Glyrup having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melkior Garmer in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kirstein Glyrup prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Balstrup's Melkior Garmer got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Balstrup's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Dragsford came free, but Jørgen Bertoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fodby were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Balstrup's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tommy Bøtker took the corner. Tommy Bøtker made a great header on Fodby's corner, it was just that Balstrup's Jørgen Bertoni managed to reach the ball for a save. If Joakim Barnell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jørgen Bertoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Dragsford in the 68th minute of play. Jørgen Bertoni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Dragsford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute, Melkior Garmer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Timo Bierrum during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kirstein Glyrup took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melkior Garmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Balstrup's Kirstein Glyrup threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Melkior Garmer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 89 minutes into the match, Fodby's Joakim Barnell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jørgen Bertoni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 92nd minute Fritz Holtemann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jørgen Bertoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joakim Barnell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Balstrup's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
