After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Folmar Mulfeldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Serup's supporters rose to their feet, but Folmar Mulfeldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miklos Gadix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Folmar Mulfeldt got free with Miklos Gadix in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frederik Lyngby hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Miklos Gadix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esben Thirsted in the 13th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Aabøl's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Tirsbæk came free, but Miklos Gadix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vilmar Widmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torkild Sture in the 20th minute of play. Torkild Sture's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vilmar Widmer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 26th match minute, Serup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hauge Brunby to maneuver through the defense. Aabøl's Fritz Kragsholm got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Timmy Ahrenst fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aabøl's protests and gave Timmy Ahrenst a yellow card for diving instead. After 30 played minutes Aabøl got a freekick which was hit by Timmy Ahrenst. A collision led to Aabøl getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Timmy Ahrenst hit a great ball. Karim Tirsbæk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fritz Kragsholm in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vilmar Widmer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Torkild Sture came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Aabøl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torkild Sture couldn't finish the play. Folmar Mulfeldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Miklos Gadix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fritz Kragsholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torkild Sture received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Vilmar Widmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benni Kirskov charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benni Kirskov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Serup getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Benni Kirskov hit a great ball. Sophus Hilk tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Vilmar Widmer. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
If Fritz Kragsholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torkild Sture sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Karim Tirsbæk notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Aabøl's Miklos Gadix. Miklos Gadix was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Karim Tirsbæk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. Torkild Sture might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vilmar Widmer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Torkild Sture ran back to his position shaking his head. Vilmar Widmer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torkild Sture in the 86th minute. Aabøl were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Serup's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Asger Brunel took the corner. After taking down the ball on Aabøl's corner Asger Brunel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vilmar Widmer quite easily take care of the ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Fritz Kragsholm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aabøl's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fritz Kragsholm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Aabøl booed when Serup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esben Thirsted didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vilmar Widmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fritz Kragsholm, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. 97 minutes into the game, Frederik Lyngby was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aabøl's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Serup the free kick. Frederik Lyngby kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
