Iver Bennes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Mærn FV getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Lavritz Toftved hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iver Bennes in the 10th minute of play forced Mærn FV's goalkeeper Sigurt Houengaard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Borup booed when Mærn FV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnni Starsø didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rickard Scharfe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mærn FV's Sigurt Houengaard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Mærn FV from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Borup's Sigurt Houengaard threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iver Bennes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 31 minutes into the match, Borup's goal looked a bit too open when William Kanding came free, but Eckhardt Milhøj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Borup's Iver Bennes in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mærn FV's goalie prevented a goal. A hard shot 37 in the game by Mark Junget from a close distance when the talented Sigurt Houengaard managed to make a qualified save. Mærn FV's players were relieved. Sigurt Houengaard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iver Bennes, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Iver Bennes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigurt Houengaard having to interfere. Iver Bennes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Sigurt Houengaard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Mærn FV's goal looked a bit too open when Iver Bennes came free, but Sigurt Houengaard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iver Bennes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iver Bennes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Sigurt Houengaard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Borup getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Rikard Brill hit a great ball. Sigurt Houengaard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mark Junget went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 63rd match minute, Borup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rickard Scharfe to maneuver through the defense. The corner ended in Nickolas Englich almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Borup's Eckhardt Milhøj did a great save. Marvin Barakat hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Nickolas Englich, 67 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. William Kanding scored 2-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eckhardt Milhøj, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mark Junget fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigurt Houengaard having to interfere. After 80 minutes, William Kanding mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mærn FV and the Borup players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Borup booed when Mærn FV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Kanding didn't get a good kick on the ball. Detlef Jarberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eckhardt Milhøj having to interfere. If Iver Bennes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th match minute, Mærn FV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Degnbol to maneuver through the defense. Iver Bennes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Sigurt Houengaard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mærn FV's Sigurt Houengaard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustus Roelshøj in the 93rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Borup's zone, Johnni Starsø stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eckhardt Milhøj came out of the goal and Johnni Starsø tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Borup players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
