If William Kanding had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 4th minute, Lavritz Dalsfledt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Detlef Jarberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lert FV's Thorlejf Haarup played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Detlef Jarberg in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute Rudy Rodkjær shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigurt Houengaard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Detlef Jarberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Thorlejf Haarup tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, William Kanding left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mærn FV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Sigurt Houengaard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudy Rodkjær, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When Johnni Starsø fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mærn FV's protests and gave Johnni Starsø a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Mærn FV's Johnni Starsø got a free kick in the 28th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Mærn FV's Nickolas Englich broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The attack was good, but when Detlef Jarberg in the 35th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 37th minute, William Kanding made a precise shot to the right of Thorlejf Haarup. Lert FV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 42 minutes into the match, Mærn FV's goalkeeper Sigurt Houengaard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Terry Vinstrup. In the 43rd minute Rudy Rodkjær shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigurt Houengaard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thorlejf Haarup made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Detlef Jarberg in the 48th minute of play. The Lert FV players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mærn FV were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rudy Rodkjær to strike the kick off in the second half. If Rudy Rodkjær had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Terry Vinstrup in the 56th minute of play forced Mærn FV's goalkeeper Sigurt Houengaard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. William Kanding received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thorlejf Haarup came out and tried to block the shot, but William Kanding slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 59th minute. Mærn FV's Johnni Starsø got his second yellow card of the match in the 62nd minute. The referee ordered Johnni Starsø off the ground. Johnni Starsø kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Detlef Jarberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thorlejf Haarup having to interfere. Detlef Jarberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Detlef Jarberg fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mærn FV's protests and gave Detlef Jarberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd minute Terry Vinstrup shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigurt Houengaard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Terry Vinstrup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigurt Houengaard having to interfere. When the match was over Mærn FV could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lert FV throughout the match.
