Philip Eisling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Eckhardt Milhøj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Askild Væring fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eckhardt Milhøj having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Borup's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Philip Eisling fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Avlum AC's Bastian Bockenthien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Junget in the 13th minute of play. Eckhardt Milhøj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Askild Væring, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Askild Væring fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eckhardt Milhøj having to interfere. In the 18th minute Iver Bennes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bastian Bockenthien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Avlum AC's Philip Eisling got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Philip Eisling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Avlum AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borup the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Avlum AC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Borup:s goal. Bastian Bockenthien went to the wrong direction when Marvin Barakat was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olle Kjærsøe during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Iver Bennes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastian Bockenthien having to interfere. Bastian Bockenthien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iver Bennes in the 41st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Borup's zone, Philip Eisling stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eckhardt Milhøj came out of the goal and Philip Eisling tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Avlum AC's Philip Eisling got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rickard Scharfe kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iver Bennes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mark Junget could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Bastian Bockenthien made a huge save. 65 minutes into the game, Borup's Iver Bennes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bastian Bockenthien made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 68 minutes into the match, Borup's Mark Junget sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bastian Bockenthien narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Philip Eisling came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Avlum AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Philip Eisling couldn't finish the play. Augustus Roelshøj hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Philip Eisling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eckhardt Milhøj having to interfere. Philip Eisling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
