Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Walther Helgestad started the match with the kick off. Allan Elsfoss's late challenge caught a Elsø AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Allan Elsfoss helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Elsø AC booed when Gabøl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Elsfoss didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Gabøl getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Karljohan Engnæs hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Miklos Wasehuus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Askild Mejler was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. 16 minutes into the match, Miklos Wasehuus notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Elsø AC's Askild Mejler. Askild Mejler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elsø AC's Victor Schnidt suffered a concussion after 19 minutes and had to leave the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donald Lolck in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Askild Mejler saved Elsø AC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miklos Wasehuus in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Askild Mejler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 27 minutes, Donald Lolck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gabøl's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donald Lolck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28thth minute of the game Miklos Wasehuus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elsø AC's Askild Mejler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 40th minute, Elsø AC's Elias Timsgaard ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nigel Rosholm. Nigel Rosholm yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miklos Wasehuus was the one to do the kick off. Donald Lolck who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Askild Mejler when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Miklos Wasehuus came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Gabøl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miklos Wasehuus couldn't finish the play. If William Truholt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nigel Rosholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Truholt in the 66th minute of play. After 86 played minutes Miklos Wasehuus rounded Elsø AC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. In the 92nd minute Miklos Wasehuus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Askild Mejler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Elsø AC's zone, Donald Lolck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Askild Mejler came out of the goal and Donald Lolck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Gabøl players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
