The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Jørg Benneke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tejs Nevang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Revshale AC's zone, Gregorius Gerler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernest Adamsen came out of the goal and Gregorius Gerler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nik Selida came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ernest Adamsen could save by the left post. In the 16th minute Nigel Langston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tejs Nevang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Nørreværre AC's goal looked a bit too open when Jørg Benneke came free, but Tejs Nevang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Isak Pantel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Revshale AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nørreværre AC the free kick. In the 23rd match minute, Nørreværre AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurth Silverbrok to maneuver through the defense. Revshale AC's Ernest Adamsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorius Gerler in the 28th minute of play. The Revshale AC fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Revshale AC's Jørg Benneke looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gregorius Gerler in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernest Adamsen saved Revshale AC from getting behind. Jørg Benneke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Tejs Nevang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute Gregorius Gerler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernest Adamsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Revshale AC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gregorius Gerler made the kick off in the second half. If Nigel Langston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. Ernest Adamsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nik Selida in the 97th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
