A collision led to Katrevel getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Børge Thisted hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Saksild defense, Arvid Jersin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Berthold Laibjørn. The Saksild fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Berthold Laibjørn should have stopped the shot. In the 36th minute, Claes Rydskov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Øjvind Teken in the 41st minute of play forced Katrevel's goalkeeper Theis Lexner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Øjvind Teken scored 1-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Theis Lexner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Øjvind Teken managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saksild's supporters rose to their feet, but Øjvind Teken was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theis Lexner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Katrevel's Theis Lexner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Katrevel from getting a goal against them. Øjvind Teken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Theis Lexner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57thth minute of the game Øjvind Teken who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Katrevel's Theis Lexner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carsten Dyrting took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Berthold Laibjørn. Saksild's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
