The referee showed Nicko Melby the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sommerlund getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Alexander Gribskjold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kim Bindzus having to interfere. Rikard Dahm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chrestian Lykkebrønd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kim Bindzus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Gribskjold in the 28th minute of the match. Rikard Dahm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rikki Hegner in the 30th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Sommerlund's goalkeeper Kim Bindzus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Wienziers. 34 minutes into the match, Sommerlund's Chrestian Lykkebrønd sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rikard Dahm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chrestian Lykkebrønd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Rikard Dahm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexander Gribskjold to make the kick off. Nigel Jong kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Wagn Weinhardt hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Alexander Gribskjold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kim Bindzus having to interfere. When Ønslev AC's Edward Wienziers in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sommerlund's goalie prevented a goal. Ønslev AC's Rikard Dahm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rikki Hegner in the 73rd minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Sommerlund's Rikki Hegner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rikard Dahm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Chrestian Lykkebrønd got in the 83rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Rikard Dahm handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. If Chrestian Lykkebrønd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 92 minutes, Alexander Gribskjold managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ønslev AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Gribskjold was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Alexander Gribskjold came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Ønslev AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexander Gribskjold couldn't finish the play. Thorkild Wallin kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The supporters of Ønslev AC booed when Sommerlund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicko Melby didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
