Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hassan Rothmann started the match with the kick off. Gabriel Almstrøm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hassan Rothmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rene Dahlstrøm kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Sigfried Fosdal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rudolf Børthy. Egeby's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Egeby's Amdi Schouw got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Danny Boest had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Danny Boest fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Egeby's protests and gave Danny Boest a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Egeby getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Danny Boest hit a great ball. Niklas Prainer kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Abbenæs's Kenni Perrier got a free kick in the 21st minute. 26 minutes into the match, Abbenæs's goal looked a bit too open when Danny Boest came free, but Gabriel Almstrøm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Markus Vinther was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Egeby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abbenæs the free kick. After 33 played minutes Egeby got a freekick which was hit by Markus Vinther. Rudolf Børthy made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Ernest Stachel sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute, Tonny Sparrested hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Abbenæs's goal looked a bit too open when Hassan Rothmann came free, but Gabriel Almstrøm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 40 minutes, Ernest Stachel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abbenæs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernest Stachel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Stephan Vatnadal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stephan Vatnadal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Børthy having to interfere. The supporters of Abbenæs booed when Egeby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thorvald Strandhof didn't get a good kick on the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Abbenæs's Stephan Vatnadal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rudolf Børthy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Stephan Vatnadal made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Abbenæs defense, Danny Boest kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Almstrøm. The Abbenæs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Almstrøm should have stopped the shot. Abbenæs's Stephan Vatnadal got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Kenni Perrier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Egeby's Amdi Schouw got a free kick in the 64th minute. Abbenæs's Ernest Stachel got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 68 minutes, Niklas Prainer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abbenæs and the Egeby players grew even worse after the yellow card. Niklas Prainer hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Hassan Rothmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hassan Rothmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Gabriel Almstrøm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Abbenæs's Kenni Perrier got a free kick in the 75th minute. Gabriel Almstrøm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danny Boest in the 77th minute. Hassan Rothmann struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Gabriel Almstrøm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Egeby. 87 minutes into the match, Abbenæs's Ernest Stachel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rudolf Børthy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 89th minute, one of Abbenæs:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Abbenæs. Stephan Vatnadal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rudolf Børthy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Hassan Rothmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Egeby's supporters rose to their feet, but Hassan Rothmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Almstrøm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Egeby's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
