The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Franck Svankilde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Tommy Klemmed tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, Rimmerhus's goalkeeper Tommy Klemmed had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Franck Svankilde. Tommy Klemmed didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rollo Lilløen went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Franck Svankilde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Klemmed having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Rollo Lilløen fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tommy Klemmed, passed just outside the right post. Ernst Vyman's late challenge caught a Rimmerhus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernst Vyman helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rimmerhus booed when Smidstrup FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernst Vyman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 24 played minutes Rimmerhus got a freekick which was hit by Wilhelm Paamand. Franck Svankilde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Tommy Klemmed tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rollo Lilløen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Klemmed having to interfere. Rimmerhus's Tommy Klemmed played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rollo Lilløen in the 33rd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Rollo Lilløen notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Rimmerhus's Tommy Klemmed. Tommy Klemmed was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benth Lundbech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nickolas Gundlach in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute Ernst Vyman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Klemmed saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Wilhelm Paamand came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Rimmerhus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilhelm Paamand couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Smidstrup FC's Ulrich Stebuss got a free kick in the 55th minute. Benth Lundbech made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilhelm Paamand in the 58th minute. Benth Lundbech had great luck who in the 59thth minute grab hold of the ball when Wilhelm Paamand from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Kaj Midjord could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Benth Lundbech made a huge save. Alex Konggaard hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Wilhelm Paamand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Smidstrup FC's Ernst Vyman got a free kick in the 68th minute. A collision led to Smidstrup FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ulrich Stebuss hit a great ball. Benth Lundbech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilhelm Paamand, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Kaj Midjord received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Benth Lundbech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilhelm Paamand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 played minutes Smidstrup FC got a freekick which was hit by Ernst Vyman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franck Svankilde in the 87th minute of play forced Rimmerhus's goalkeeper Tommy Klemmed to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kaj Midjord had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
