The referee ignored Gølstrup's protests and gave Håkon Rokkjær a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Gølstrup's Håkon Rokkjær got a free kick in the 15th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Berndt Vaarskov made a kick off. Tonni Ørn struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Gorm Lillevad sped through Gølstrup's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lennert Furland. If Tonni Ørn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Håkon Rokkjær got his second yellow card in the match during the 84th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Håkon Rokkjær hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Lennert Furland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tonni Ørn in the 87th minute of the match. In the 89thth minute of the game Tonni Ørn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gølstrup's Lennert Furland was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gorm Lillevad in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lennert Furland prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 92 played minutes Gølstrup's Arvid Elk stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Alexander Ramian stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Dukkerup of the goal. Lennert Furland came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Dukkerup's Tonni Ørn. But to his dismay, Tonni Ørn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Dukkerup's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
