After having played for 9 minutes, Sofus Farnø managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Novrup's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sofus Farnø was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonhard Fuglsbøl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krestoffer Possov having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Leonhard Fuglsbøl recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Krestoffer Possov. Leonhard Fuglsbøl showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Frands Bejskjær fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Novrup's protests and gave Frands Bejskjær a yellow card for diving instead. Frands Bejskjær hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. If Werner Hoffmeyer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tyge Falktoft got his second yellow card in the match during the 29th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Werner Hoffmeyers short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Krestoffer Possov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Sofus Farnø managed to get in a good position for a shot. Novrup's supporters rose to their feet, but Sofus Farnø was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauritz Hagensen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peder Dunø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krestoffer Possov having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonhard Fuglsbøl made a kick off. If Leonhard Fuglsbøl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sofus Farnø got free with Mauritz Hagensen in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Werner Hoffmeyer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute Nørby were awarded a corner. Siegmund Roursgaard went to the cornerflag to take it.
