The ball had pretty good speed, but Edwardt Tello firmly grabbed it by the left post. Denis Laumark's late challenge caught a Sorø FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denis Laumark helped the player get up and apologised. Denis Laumark kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. If Kurt Meinsbæk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurt Meinsbæk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gundtoft's Edwardt Tello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Gundtoft from getting a goal against them. Denis Laumark got his second yellow card in the match during the 21st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 22nd minute, Denis Laumark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gundtoft's Svenaage Nonskard got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gundtoft's Edwardt Tello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddie Lyksholm in the 31st minute of play. When Rolf Solhuus fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gundtoft's protests and gave Rolf Solhuus a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th minute, Rolf Solhuus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Daniel Jansdorf in the 36th minute really tested Edwardt Tello's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 44th minute Freddie Lyksholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwardt Tello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Kåre Foldbjerg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gundtoft's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sorø FC the free kick. After 44 played minutes Gundtoft got a freekick which was hit by Kåre Foldbjerg. Sorø FC's Kurt Meinsbæk got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Svenaage Nonskard was the one to do the kick off. Edwardt Tello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddie Lyksholm in the 54th minute of play. Kurt Meinsbæk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edwardt Tello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddie Lyksholm in the 59th minute of the match. Gundtoft's Rolf Solhuus got his second yellow card of the match in the 64th minute. The referee ordered Rolf Solhuus off the ground. Daniel Jansdorf was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 66th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Gundtoft's Edwardt Tello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Meinsbæk in the 70th minute of play. Freddie Lyksholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Meinsbæk in the 74th minute of play forced Gundtoft's goalkeeper Edwardt Tello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sorø FC's Freddie Lyksholm in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gundtoft's goalie prevented a goal. After 78 minutes of play Gundtoft's Kåre Foldbjerg was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 78th minute, Kåre Foldbjerg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Freddie Lyksholm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sorø FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddie Lyksholm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edwardt Tello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kurt Meinsbæk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Edwardt Tello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gundtoft's Edwardt Tello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Meinsbæk in the 87th minute of play. Micki Olthaver made an important save on a dangerous shot by Svenaage Nonskard in the 96th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
