The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vilfred Iberling was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes, Arnold Kramsfeldt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lemvig SIK and the Gredstedbro players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 53 minutes, Vilfred Iberling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gredstedbro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vilfred Iberling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th minute, Lemvig SIK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vilfred Iberling fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Nicolaj Erholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Lemvig SIK players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
