Keld Busekist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Egedam in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 8thth minute of the game Mickey Brokside who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lemvig SIK's Freddy Idoff was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ib Stellart during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 12 played minutes Lemvig SIK got a freekick which was hit by Ib Stellart. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnold Kramsfeldt during the 14th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Mickey Brokside managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nyhuse's supporters rose to their feet, but Mickey Brokside was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Idoff breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Svenn Vehages short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Freddy Idoff to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dan Toftensberg's late challenge caught a Lemvig SIK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dan Toftensberg helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Nyhuse's Dan Toftensberg got a free kick in the 21st minute. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Romeo Egedam struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Keld Busekist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lemvig SIK. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nyhuse's goalkeeper Keld Busekist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nyhuse's Keld Busekist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ebbe Sauntved in the 44th minute of play. Romeo Egedam might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Keld Busekist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romeo Egedam ran back to his position shaking his head. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Romeo Egedam fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Keld Busekist, passed just outside the right post. Keld Busekist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ebbe Sauntved in the 53rd minute. Keld Busekist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Egedam, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 61st minute Romeo Egedam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Busekist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Romeo Egedam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Svenn Vehage came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Nyhuse fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Svenn Vehage couldn't finish the play. When Arnold Kramsfeldt was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. Arnold Kramsfeldt kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Ebbe Sauntved took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keld Busekist. Keld Busekist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gordon Aggesen kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. With his leg Keld Busekist managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Lemvig SIK's Ebbe Sauntved fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mickey Brokside recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
