Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stefan Wounlund started the match with the kick off. Valther Friisager took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eberhardt Fagerhøj. Hedeboryde's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Olle Kussner successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mads Scholes in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olle Kussner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mads Scholes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Nils Skyborg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute Mads Scholes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olle Kussner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Hedeboryde getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Mads Scholes hit a great ball. Peer Sjeltoft recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mads Scholes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Folmar Casthøj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olle Kussner having to interfere. Kresten Gjerland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eberhardt Fagerhøj having to interfere. Stefan Wounlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kaspar Brinckmeyer charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kaspar Brinckmeyer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Aarestrup SIK booed when Hedeboryde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaspar Brinckmeyer didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Kresten Gjerland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 minutes, Stefan Wounlund made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Hedeboryde's Eberhardt Fagerhøj tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Taus Hjarnegaard, 81 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Mads Scholes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peer Sjeltoft hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Folmar Casthøj struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Olle Kussner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hedeboryde. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Aarestrup SIK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
