Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Kresten Oxbøll started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Kappendrup booed when Roholte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Poul Puck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fritz Remtoft was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 5th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Thorkild Hersnæs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ewald Rheder having to interfere. After some careless play in the Roholte defense, Kresten Oxbøll kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ewald Rheder. The Roholte fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ewald Rheder should have stopped the shot. Tonny Staur might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jens Frisendal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tonny Staur ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice moves Olav Thulau could shoot a difficult shot in the 21st minute, which Jens Frisendal however easily saved by the left post. Ewald Rheder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thorkild Hersnæs, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Thorkild Hersnæs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ewald Rheder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roholte's Ewald Rheder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egon Trentemøller in the 30th minute of play. Thorkild Hersnæs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tonny Staur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 played minutes Kappendrup got a freekick which was hit by Egon Trentemøller. In the 36th minute, Tonny Staur fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jens Frisendal, passed just outside the right post. After having played for 38 minutes, Olav Thulau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roholte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olav Thulau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ewald Rheder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thorkild Hersnæs, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Ewald Rheder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thorkild Hersnæs in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tonny Staur to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Carsten Bohn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Kresten Oxbøll managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kappendrup's supporters rose to their feet, but Kresten Oxbøll was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ewald Rheder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thorkild Hersnæs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Ewald Rheder made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olav Thulau in the 74th minute of play forced Kappendrup's goalkeeper Jens Frisendal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thorkild Hersnæs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ewald Rheder having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Kappendrup's Kresten Oxbøll sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ewald Rheder narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jens Frisendal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olav Thulau in the 87th minute of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Olav Thulau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roholte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olav Thulau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jens Frisendal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tonny Staur, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Kappendrup's Jens Frisendal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olav Thulau in the 95th minute of play. If Kresten Oxbøll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
