Moses Stendell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Birger Leifs made a huge save. After 5 played minutes Brøndbyøster got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Felking. Eckhardt Krum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The long shot by Elo Klitgart in the 15th minute really tested Birger Leifs's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Oskar Boegh might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rune Hauvinkel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oskar Boegh ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Brøndbyøster defense, Niels Dysseholm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rune Hauvinkel. The Brøndbyøster fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rune Hauvinkel should have stopped the shot. Lukas Andreasen kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Birger Leifs was a little too slow when Ejnar Steinfeld got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 41st minute, Andy Hviid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moses Stendell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Birger Leifs read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ejnar Steinfeld to strike the kick off in the second half. If Niels Dysseholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niels Dysseholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Hauvinkel having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tobøl's zone, Moses Stendell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Birger Leifs came out of the goal and Moses Stendell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Tobøl's Lavrits Koldsen got a free kick in the 82nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ejnar Steinfeld in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Birger Leifs saved Tobøl from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moses Stendell in the 88th minute of play forced Tobøl's goalkeeper Birger Leifs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Ejnar Steinfeld put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Birger Leifs. Many of Tobøl's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Tobøl may have spent more time on the ball, but Brøndbyøster were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
