Øby AC's Stig Plovsing got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sivart Krogsriis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Birger Leifs having to make a save. Oskar Boegh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Birger Leifs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig Plovsing, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Øby AC's Samuel Cobelens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Øby AC from getting a goal against them. 28 minutes into the match, Tobøl's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Plovsing came free, but Birger Leifs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sivart Krogsriis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Birger Leifs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Øby AC's Samuel Cobelens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Boegh in the 31st minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stig Plovsing made a kick off. Sivart Krogsriis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Leifs having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig Plovsing in the 59th minute of play forced Tobøl's goalkeeper Birger Leifs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sivart Krogsriis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Leifs having to interfere. If Oskar Boegh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thorsten Heldbjerg kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tobøl's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vilhelm Hartsteen was slow to take the kick. During this time Øby AC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Øby AC's corner Stig Plovsing fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Birger Leifs quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Stig Plovsing's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Birger Leifs was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game.
