Bernard Steving kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The long shot by Claus Meiling in the 19th minute really tested Samuel Cobelens's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Laus Heiselt hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Moses Stendell's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Samuel Cobelens skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sven Løvtorp charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven Løvtorp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th minute, Sven Løvtorp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuel Cobelens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moses Stendell in the 32nd minute. Ejnar Steinfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ejnar Steinfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Cobelens having to interfere. Ejnar Steinfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Samuel Cobelens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ejnar Steinfeld stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Stig Plovsing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ejnar Steinfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ejnar Steinfeld came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Brøndbyøster fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ejnar Steinfeld couldn't finish the play. Sivart Krogsriis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Hauvinkel having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig Plovsing in the 82nd minute of play forced Brøndbyøster's goalkeeper Rune Hauvinkel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ejnar Steinfeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Brøndbyøster booed when Øby AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walder Hveger didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Moses Stendell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brøndbyøster fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. A collision led to Brøndbyøster getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Egon Oppenhagen hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Claus Meiling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Brøndbyøster had won after a very even match.
