Vilhelm Popenda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berthold Glejtrup, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the game, Tage Stevns was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Roum's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Volshave FV the free kick. Tage Stevns hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Henrik Stoubæk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilhelm Popenda having to interfere. After 26 minutes of play Roum's Tage Stevns was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 27th match minute, Roum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tage Stevns to maneuver through the defense. When Eskil Grydehøj fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Volshave FV's protests and gave Eskil Grydehøj a yellow card for diving instead. Eskil Grydehøj kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes Roum got a freekick which was hit by Mario Kragels. Henrik Stoubæk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilhelm Popenda having to interfere. If Henrik Stoubæk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Volshave FV booed when Roum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernhardt Isaccer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Torbjørn Nørdorf sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Roum's Vilhelm Popenda didn't even have to move. Vilhelm Popenda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrik Stoubæk in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Bernhardt Isaccer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Roum's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Volshave FV the free kick. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 53rd minute, Berthold Glejtrup left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Volshave FV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. If Berthold Glejtrup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Henrik Stoubæk struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Vilhelm Popenda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Volshave FV. Vilhelm Popenda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Stoubæk in the 67th minute of the match. Allan Bresta made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Melchior Sigersen sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Henrik Stoubæk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vilhelm Popenda was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. When Henrik Stoubæk came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Volshave FV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrik Stoubæk couldn't finish the play. Berthold Glejtrup scored 3-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vilhelm Popenda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 87th match minute, Volshave FV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berthold Glejtrup to maneuver through the defense. When Volshave FV's Henrik Stoubæk in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Roum's goalie prevented a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Volshave FV fully deserved thier win.
