Rugskov's Per Makelainen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Rugskov from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute, Melchior Sigersen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th match minute, Roum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mads Vilby to maneuver through the defense. Svenåge Platz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilhelm Popenda having to interfere. Roum's Torkild Bendahl shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 26th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Per Makelainen but with some difficulty. After having played for 29 minutes, Melchior Sigersen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melchior Sigersen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Bernhardt Isaccer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roum's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernhardt Isaccer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per Makelainen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Svenåge Platz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilhelm Popenda having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernhardt Isaccer made a kick off. Vilhelm Popenda made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Jack Aspelin sent off a good shot on target. Per Makelainen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchior Sigersen in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Svenåge Platz in the 58th minute of play forced Roum's goalkeeper Vilhelm Popenda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Svenåge Platz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Vilhelm Popenda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jack Aspelin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilhelm Popenda having to interfere. Jack Aspelin in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vilhelm Popenda, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Vilhelm Popenda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svenåge Platz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vilhelm Popenda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svenåge Platz, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Rugskov's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Roum the free kick. Torleif Marer hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
