The supporters of Vejstruprød FV booed when Surhave was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erhard Ottov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rainer Dalvang took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eyvin Glyø. Surhave's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 24th minute, Rainer Dalvang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sigvard Eggertsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miki Bank's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Surhave's Eyvin Glyø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teddy Jegsmark in the 35th minute of play. If Gunnar Wienke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 38 minutes, Teddy Jegsmark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vejstruprød FV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teddy Jegsmark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 41 minutes of play, Vejstruprød FV's Teddy Jegsmark made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eyvin Glyø was left in no man's land by his defense there! 45 minutes into the game, Valdemar Trolling was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Surhave's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vejstruprød FV the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kornelius Risvold in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sigvard Eggertsen saved Vejstruprød FV from getting behind. Eyvin Glyø was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gunnar Wienke showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 63 minute of play. After having played for 69 minutes, Teddy Jegsmark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vejstruprød FV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teddy Jegsmark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sigvard Eggertsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sigvard Eggertsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miki Bank, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vejstruprød FV's zone, Kornelius Risvold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sigvard Eggertsen came out of the goal and Kornelius Risvold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sigvard Eggertsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kornelius Risvold's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Vejstruprød FV's Sigvard Eggertsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kornelius Risvold in the 94th minute of play. The Vejstruprød FV supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vejstruprød FV would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
