With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thorkil Aparicio in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stephen Helbirk saved Kværnholt from getting behind. With a little luck, Lerbjerg FC's Runar Kolland got control of the ball when Vilmer Flendorf tried to sneak it across the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Lerbjerg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bjarne Bjeragger came free, but Runar Kolland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Lerbjerg FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Michel Aaregaard hit a great ball. When Bjarne Bjeragger came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Kværnholt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bjarne Bjeragger couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Kværnholt's Bjarne Bjeragger fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Stephen Helbirk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thorkil Aparicio in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thorkil Aparicio in the 39th minute of play forced Kværnholt's goalkeeper Stephen Helbirk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kværnholt's Stephen Helbirk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berthold Gejel in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bjarne Bjeragger in the 45th minute of play forced Lerbjerg FC's goalkeeper Runar Kolland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
If Vilmer Flendorf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 55 minutes, Vilmer Flendorf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kværnholt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vilmer Flendorf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thorkil Aparicio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephen Helbirk having to interfere. Lerbjerg FC's Runar Kolland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bjarne Bjeragger in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Bruno Stjernholt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Kværnholt getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Bjarne Bjeragger hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Berthold Gejel sped through Kværnholt's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stephen Helbirk. Lerbjerg FC's Runar Kolland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilmer Flendorf in the 79th minute of play. Eske Kragstrup received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Stephen Helbirk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kværnholt's Stephen Helbirk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Kværnholt from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilmer Flendorf in the 90th minute of play forced Lerbjerg FC's goalkeeper Runar Kolland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stephen Helbirk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thorkil Aparicio, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Bjarne Bjeragger struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Runar Kolland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kværnholt. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Berthold Gejel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lerbjerg FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Berthold Gejel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stephen Helbirk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Kværnholt supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lerbjerg FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Lerbjerg FC.
