When Vilmer Flendorf fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kværnholt's protests and gave Vilmer Flendorf a yellow card for diving instead. Mads Askvig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephen Helbirk having to interfere. Sebastian Dommerborg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Stephen Helbirk made a huge save. Vilmer Flendorf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ejner Vognstrup having to interfere. Ejner Vognstrup stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vilmer Flendorf's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. The supporters of Kværnholt booed when Lund AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Alseng didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Lund AC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Niklas Lerbak hit a great ball. Bjarne Bjeragger might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ejner Vognstrup. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bjarne Bjeragger ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Lund AC's zone, Vilmer Flendorf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ejner Vognstrup came out of the goal and Vilmer Flendorf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Mads Askvig made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bjarne Bjeragger in the 61st minute of play forced Lund AC's goalkeeper Ejner Vognstrup to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mads Askvig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Stephen Helbirk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Kværnholt getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Bruno Stjernholt hit a great ball. Kværnholt's Bruno Stjernholt got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Vilmer Flendorf could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Ejner Vognstrup however easily saved by the left post. After 76 played minutes Lund AC got a freekick which was hit by Uffe Suse. If Vilmer Flendorf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niklas Lerbak kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Ejner Vognstrup didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 81st minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Mads Askvig sped through Kværnholt's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stephen Helbirk. Bruno Stjernholt got his second yellow card in the match during the 92nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Bruno Stjernholt hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
