In the 29th minute Asmind Carøe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Børge Bligaard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Asmind Carøe in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Børge Bligaard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, John Carlqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gudumbro's supporters rose to their feet, but John Carlqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Børge Bligaard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Asmind Carøe came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Gudumbro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Asmind Carøe couldn't finish the play. 38 minutes into the match, Gudumbro's goal looked a bit too open when Imran Bjargum came free, but Wilfred Rydborg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilfred Rydborg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Imran Bjargum's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. If Imran Bjargum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chrestian Sletterød hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell John Carlqvist to make the kick off. Lund AC's Børge Bligaard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Lund AC from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute Imran Bjargum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfred Rydborg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 played minutes Lund AC got a freekick which was hit by Roger Lundvang. Benjamin Weyen hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match.
