The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ole Nerald kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Brydebjerg AC's Oscar Lyngdal got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Klokkerholm FV's goalkeeper Amdi Telvig had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Lyngdal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerhardt Roskilde in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeppe Østervig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute, Maurits Koble hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 minutes Klokkerholm FV's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kield Leiner who took care of the corner kick. Gerhardt Roskilde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jeppe Østervig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Klokkerholm FV's Amdi Telvig got control of the ball when Oscar Lyngdal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jeppe Østervig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerhardt Roskilde, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Øjvind Hankelbjerg during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 53 played minutes Brydebjerg AC got a freekick which was hit by Øjvind Hankelbjerg. In the 55th minute of the match Nicky Kesby shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeppe Østervig showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jeppe Østervig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerhardt Roskilde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricky Tharnø got free with Jeppe Østervig in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jeppe Østervig stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerhardt Roskilde's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Gerhardt Roskilde's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeppe Østervig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Brydebjerg AC's Kalle Klausen got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Brydebjerg AC's goalkeeper Jeppe Østervig, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Gerhardt Roskilde left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Klokkerholm FV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Klokkerholm FV's Clavs Pugaard got a free kick in the 75th minute. The supporters of Klokkerholm FV booed when Brydebjerg AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kalle Klausen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Gerhardt Roskilde recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jeppe Østervig. Gerhardt Roskilde showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Klokkerholm FV walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
