Jacob Gericke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Detlev Stræde having to interfere. Detlev Stræde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sonni Storres, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Bjerndrup's Tommy Kural in the 39th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Fred Riistofte was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Hvirpgade through an amazing save. 41 minutes into the match, Bjerndrup's Tommy Kural sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fred Riistofte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sonni Storres in the 46th minute of play forced Bjerndrup's goalkeeper Detlev Stræde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tommy Kural stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Bjerndrup's Piotr Maschoreck got a free kick in the 54th minute. The supporters of Hvirpgade booed when Bjerndrup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nis Lisbygd didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Hvirpgade's Gerdt Steinke tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Sonni Storres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Tommy Kural came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Bjerndrup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tommy Kural couldn't finish the play. Fred Riistofte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Kural in the 69th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Hvirpgade's Jacob Gericke slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Detlev Stræde. That made the score 1-1 after 70 minutes of play. If Piotr Maschoreck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Kural sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jacob Gericke came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Hvirpgade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacob Gericke couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute, Tejs Glamby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fred Riistofte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piotr Maschoreck in the 83rd minute of the match. Detlev Stræde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sonni Storres in the 86th minute. A collision led to Hvirpgade getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Filip Korsvej hit a great ball. The Hvirpgade players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Bjerndrup from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
