Edmund Pfanner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georg Snoghøj, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Laurids Fallisgaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmund Pfanner having to interfere. Laurids Fallisgaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Edmund Pfanner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Mesing FV getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Asger Grønbek hit a great ball. Kristofer Holsting took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thorkild Holmgrun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After recieving a nice pass, Lakkendrup SIK's Kjeld Claud tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Kristofer Holsting had great luck who in the 28thth minute grab hold of the ball when Thorkild Holmgrun from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When Georg Snoghøj came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Mesing FV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Georg Snoghøj couldn't finish the play. Taus Dysgård kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Carsten Sorgenfri hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Mesing FV's Laurids Fallisgaard managed to work through Lakkendrup SIK's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Laurids Fallisgaard dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Georg Snoghøj's late challenge caught a Lakkendrup SIK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Georg Snoghøj helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th minute, Georg Snoghøj hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Lakkendrup SIK's Thorkild Holmgrun in the 48th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Kristofer Holsting was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Mesing FV through an amazing save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Marco Flamgaard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kristofer Holsting having to make a save. In the 55th minute Georg Snoghøj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Pfanner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristofer Holsting showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thorkild Holmgrun in the 58th minute of the match. Mesing FV's supporters rose to their feet, but Laurids Fallisgaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmund Pfanner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edmund Pfanner made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Laurids Fallisgaard sent off a good shot on target.
