The supporters of Gravl booed when Ho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurd Ischiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gravl the free kick. Gravl's Linus Elvyg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolf Randeriis in the 27th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ho defense, Asker Nøreng kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Egon Karfelt. The Ho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Egon Karfelt should have stopped the shot. If Brian Mulder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rolf Randeriis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the game, Jens Hesbjerg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arvid Ponne kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Rolf Randeriis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ho's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolf Randeriis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Linus Elvyg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Egon Karfelt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Helmuth Falkendorf's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Asker Nøreng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egon Karfelt having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolf Randeriis in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Linus Elvyg saved Gravl from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Gravl's Eg Fuge got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Mauritz Kondrup hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Helmuth Falkendorf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egon Karfelt having to interfere. When Helmuth Falkendorf came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Gravl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Helmuth Falkendorf couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Ho's zone, Asker Nøreng stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egon Karfelt came out of the goal and Asker Nøreng tried to chip the ball over his head.
