Helsted's Mattias Carpens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Ebbe in the 7th minute of play. Thorleif Springby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Chrestian Galby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Helsted's zone, Mario Ebbe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mattias Carpens came out of the goal and Mario Ebbe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute Sylvester Wahlsten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Carpens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ådal AC booed when Helsted was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Askild Kongby didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sylvester Wahlsten scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mattias Carpens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 33 minutes, Sylvester Wahlsten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ådal AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sylvester Wahlsten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Ebbe in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mattias Carpens saved Helsted from getting behind. 44 minutes into the match, Ådal AC's goal looked a bit too open when Klas Sølvberg came free, but Chrestian Galby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thorleif Springby got free with Chrestian Galby in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Klas Sølvberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Mario Ebbe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chrestian Galby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Preben Olsby charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Preben Olsby the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Terkild Skrydstrup's late challenge caught a Ådal AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Terkild Skrydstrup helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Helsted getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Terkild Skrydstrup hit a great ball. Helsted's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
