Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ove Munkegaard kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Kongstrup's Asger Gejlka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Villy Visbro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Villy Visbro came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Kongstrup's Asger Gejlka. But to his dismay, Asger Gejlka quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Asger Gejlka came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Kongstrup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Asger Gejlka couldn't finish the play. Asger Gejlka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hømlund SIK's Roar Dimo in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kongstrup's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Munkegaard in the 29th minute of play forced Hømlund SIK's goalkeeper Villy Visbro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st match minute, Hømlund SIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petter Burlin to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kongstrup's goalkeeper Verner Vennevold, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Villy Visbro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asger Gejlka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mark Schøiffel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ove Munkegaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roar Dimo made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Walder Kolind during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 53rd minute Roar Dimo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Verner Vennevold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mark Schøiffel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Verner Vennevold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Asger Gejlka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Villy Visbro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ove Munkegaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Tonni Jelsbech's late challenge caught a Kongstrup's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tonni Jelsbech helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Kongstrup booed when Hømlund SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tonni Jelsbech didn't get a good kick on the ball. Asger Gejlka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Villy Visbro having to interfere. Villy Visbro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Munkegaard in the 68th minute of play. After having played for 69 minutes, Asger Gejlka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kongstrup's supporters crossed their fingers, but Asger Gejlka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Hømlund SIK's Villy Visbro got control of the ball when Asger Gejlka tried to sneak it across the goal line. Villy Visbro came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Kongstrup's Asger Gejlka. But to his dismay, Asger Gejlka quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Asger Gejlka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Villy Visbro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hømlund SIK's goalkeeper Villy Visbro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Munkegaard in the 94th minute of play forced Hømlund SIK's goalkeeper Villy Visbro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute Rudolf Dausen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Villy Visbro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kongstrup's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
