With his leg Villy Visbro managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Vinten SIK's Oscar Detlif fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 26th minute, Oscar Detlif got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tonni Jelsbech's late challenge caught a Vinten SIK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tonni Jelsbech helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hømlund SIK getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Tonni Jelsbech hit a great ball. Bo Riemenschneider fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Villy Visbro having to interfere. Villy Visbro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo Riemenschneider in the 34th minute of play. Mark Schøiffel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Niko Runsøe having to make a save. In the 37th minute, Oscar Detlif got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th minute, Roar Dimo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niko Runsøe was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After having played for 44 minutes, Bo Riemenschneider managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vinten SIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bo Riemenschneider was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Villy Visbro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rainer Grune showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 49 minute of play. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roar Dimo to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Oscar Detlif managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vinten SIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Oscar Detlif was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Villy Visbro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oscar Detlif sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tonni Jelsbech kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After having played for 75 minutes, Bo Riemenschneider managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vinten SIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bo Riemenschneider was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hømlund SIK's goalkeeper Villy Visbro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mark Schøiffel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Niko Runsøe skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Roar Dimo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Niko Runsøe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Detlif sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mark Schøiffel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niko Runsøe having to interfere. Vinten SIK's Niko Runsøe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roar Dimo in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vinten SIK's goalkeeper Niko Runsøe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. There was no doubt that Vinten SIK were the better team. Vinten SIK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
