After a rather tough play, Ejdrup's Dick Wrang got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Bertrand Larvad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augustus Gørsvig in the 8th minute of the match. Per Brandal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bertrand Larvad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Knut Hense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjeld Bruzen having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Brandal in the 15th minute of play forced Ejdrup's goalkeeper Bertrand Larvad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augustus Gørsvig hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Ejdrup's Knut Hense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kjeld Bruzen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28th minute Per Brandal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertrand Larvad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kjeld Bruzen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harold Reslow in the 30th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Knut Hense got free with Kjeld Bruzen in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bertrand Larvad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Brandal in the 37th minute of play. Augustus Gørsvig struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Bertrand Larvad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eltang AC. Bertrand Larvad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Brandal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Eltang AC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Augustus Gørsvig hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Harold Reslow to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Ejdrup booed when Eltang AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantin Tillan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ejdrup's goalkeeper Bertrand Larvad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Eltang AC's goal looked a bit too open when Knut Hense came free, but Kjeld Bruzen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Knut Hense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Eltang AC's Leif Geisborg got a free kick in the 66th minute. When Knut Hense came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Ejdrup fans jumped to their feet. In the 84th minute Augustus Gørsvig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertrand Larvad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Knud Lodbjerg's late challenge caught a Eltang AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Knud Lodbjerg helped the player get up and apologised. Knud Lodbjerg kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Kjeld Bruzen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Knut Hense, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Kjeld Bruzen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harold Reslow in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harold Reslow in the 96th minute of play forced Eltang AC's goalkeeper Kjeld Bruzen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ejdrup's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
