Olav Sparling struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Werner Hemmeshøj didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lappegrund. Lappegrund's Olav Sparling got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Knud Jyrd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Werner Hemmeshøj having to interfere. After some careless play in the Lihmskov defense, Olav Sparling kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Werner Hemmeshøj. The Lihmskov fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Werner Hemmeshøj should have stopped the shot. Olav Sparling scored 0-3 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Werner Hemmeshøj, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute, Paulo Schuster got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulo Schuster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt Langner having to interfere. After 45 minutes, Arnfred Schleppegrell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lappegrund and the Lihmskov players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute, Arnfred Schleppegrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Knud Jyrd to make the kick off. Knud Jyrd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Werner Hemmeshøj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt Langner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Schuster in the 58th minute of the match. Benjamin Sandlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Knud Jyrd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Werner Hemmeshøj having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Knud Jyrd in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Werner Hemmeshøj saved Lihmskov from getting behind. Sigfrid Alfing charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sigfrid Alfing the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th minute, Sigfrid Alfing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Sandlund struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Werner Hemmeshøj was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Knud Jyrd kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Benjamin Sandlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt Langner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olav Sparling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Werner Hemmeshøj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Knud Jyrd came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Lappegrund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Knud Jyrd couldn't finish the play. The Lihmskov fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lappegrund were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
