The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Mosegaard getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Leopold Vælum hit a great ball. Sigfred Vestbo scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joakim Sur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sigfred Vestbo came free with the goalkeeper in the 11th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Joakim Sur could save by the left post. Havndal FV's Maurits Heinegaard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gynter Jarnsø in the 15th minute of play. Leopold Vælum's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurits Heinegaard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Sigfred Vestbo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Joakim Sur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With splendid footwork Eddy Jøkladal arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-0 by the left pole in the game's 21st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moses Værenstrøm during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mosegaard's Joakim Sur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Mosegaard from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Mosegaard's Joakim Sur got control of the ball when Sigfred Vestbo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mosegaard's zone, Eddy Jøkladal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joakim Sur came out of the goal and Eddy Jøkladal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Eddy Jøkladal made the kick off in the second half. Gynter Jarnsø could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Maurits Heinegaard made a huge save. Sigfred Vestbo hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Maurits Heinegaard made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Gynter Jarnsø sent off a good shot on target. Joakim Sur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddy Jøkladal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eddy Jøkladal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Havndal FV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sigfred Vestbo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eddy Jøkladal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joakim Sur having to interfere. Havndal FV's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
